Castila is a school of Spanish that, as well as offering Spanish language classes to students around the world, designs theory and culture learning methods that come from “the desire to teach, in addition to the language, the side of Spain that is full of contrasts and enthusiasm for a language capable of unifying all types of variety- including linguistic differences- and the confidence in a society where cultural exchange is paramount.”

Castila is formed of a group of teachers that continuously promote linguistic and cultural exchange while teaching a language that has unified millions of people all over the world throughout history and continuing today. These teachers have years of experience, teaching Spanish since 1988.

Students who study in Castila will acquire and improve their communicative and linguistic skills in Spanish and will enjoy their academic experience with a more than satisfactory stay. Our objective is the complete satisfaction of our students, especially in the three fundamental parts of their stay: course, accommodation and extracurricular socio-cultural activities.

They have a thorough background in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. All of them come to us with many years of experience and are familiarized with the problems students may come across while learning Spanish as a second language. Our methodology is focused on the communicative needs of the student, developed through the practice of grammar and conversation. Our maximum of 6 students per class rule truly favors this development.

· Our school can be found in a traditional Carmen in the Albaicín
The Albaicín is the historical Arabic neighbourhood in Granada, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, with views of the Alhambra, a walled garden and fully-equipped classrooms (audio, video, Internet, heating and air conditioning).
